Marissa graduated from Ball State University on a full athletic scholarship and is the 13th all-time highest scoring Gymnastic athlete at that university.

Her family is from Ft Myers and Yonkers, NY. She has one brother and currently resides in Tampa. In her spare time, she enjoys high intensity interval training, photography, outdoor activities and traveling.
